Work Package Five (WP5) - Knowledge Management and Dissemination

This WP is to be led by the Swiss TPH with support from UHAS, GHS, MoH, GNDP and FDA. It will promote South-South as well as North-South collaboration. The emphasis will be on knowledge sharing and management at individual and organizational level along the proposed value chain.

Work Package Five (WP5) Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH), Basel, Switzerland. Swiss TPH is a world-leading institute in global health with a particular focus on low- and middle-income countries. Associated with the University of Basel, Swiss TPH uniquely combines research, education and services at local, national and international level.

Objectives

  1. To understand the roles of stakeholders in the health sector, with responsibility in the implementation of new interventions.
  2. To manage and disseminate new knowledge along the implementation of Saving across the whole range of partners and stakeholders.
  3. To promote exchanges with other similar initiatives.
  4. To identify opportunity windows for the translation of evidence into policy to implement and scale up new interventions, particularly new vaccines.
  5. To contribute to the dissemination of results to the wider research and implementation community, specifically in respect to vaccine coverage and equity.
