The Sustainable Access and Delivery of New Vaccines in Ghana (SAVING) Consortium has participated in the 2024 UHAS Research Conference, a three-day event dedicated to advancing research and innovation across health disciplines. This year’s conference, with the theme “Transforming Health Systems to Achieve Universal Health Coverage in Africa,” provides an important platform for the SAVING Consortium to highlight its work in building implementation research capacity within Ghana’s healthcare system.
Through a range of presentations and an exhibition stand on the grounds of the conference, the Consortium showcased its strategies and accomplishments in ensuring sustainable access and delivery of new vaccines across the nation. By focusing on developing Implementation Research skills among healthcare professionals, researchers, and policymakers, SAVING aims to strengthen health systems and improve the adoption of innovative health solutions.
The UHAS Research Conference attracted researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders from various sectors, creating an ideal setting for the SAVING Consortium to share insights, foster collaborations, and emphasize the critical role of implementation research in achieving sustainable healthcare delivery.
The SAVING Consortium remains committed to supporting Ghana’s healthcare system in overcoming challenges associated with vaccine access and delivery, ultimately contributing to healthier communities and improved public health outcomes.
